Baby Shug
The Salt Pond Visitor Center has a plastic baby shark to illustrate the plastic problem in our oceans. Made from many of the larger materials found in Mama Shug at Herring Cove Beach, Baby Shug will been seen by an estimated 4 million visitors this summer.

What better way to celebrate the magical number 3.14 than at Marion's Pie Shop! Pi day began in 1988 as a tongue in cheek way to celebrate mathematics and the beauty of that magic ratio, 3.14... Along the way it embraced literally flakey tasty PIE as its emblem. Take a peek behind of the scene of day in Marion's kitchen, whipping up a delectable fruit pie or savory chicken pie.
