About ArtsLight

ArtsLight is a content initiative that shines a light on Cape Cod’s creative economy.

ArtsLight was created to showcase and shine a light on the creative economy of

the Cape. ArtsLight incorporates the popular short video series Portraits of Cape Artists, which piloted in Summer 2018,

as well as ongoing creative sector coverage through a reportorial lens, longer form storytelling, multi-media storytelling, and public conversations.

ArtsLight shares the many faces and facets of creative activity and innovation on the Cape. Using audio, video, and digital reporting and storytelling to connect community members, ArtsLight introduces artists and arts organizations, generating curiosity and passion about the sector, demystifying the creative process, and building a shared awareness of the role the creative economy plays in our region.

ArtsLight is “available from anywhere” via the LowerCape TV app, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple App or Google Play stores. Content appears online at lowercapetv.org and can also be viewed beginning in September at 8 pm on Sunday, Monday, and Friday on Lower Cape TV, Channel 99.
